I guess this Global Warming Hoax has finally been exposed.
I'm just a casual fan of soccer (or futboll as they call it in Spain) so the World cup is of mild interest to me.
I've only tuned in to a few matches so far and let me tell you, this vuvu thing is the most annoying crap I think I've ever heard since Disco! It makes the matches impossible to watch or listen to. I kinda like the Spanish guy who yells "Goooooooaaaallll" when there's a score but no way can I stand this vuvu shit.
Sorry South Africa, but this is ruining your day to shine in the world spotlight. Please do something about it!
An invading army had not crossed the unpredictable and dangerous English Channel since 1688. Once the massive Allied force set out, there was no turning back. The Allies boasted a 5,000-vessel armada that stretched as far as the eye could see, transporting both men and vehicles across the channel to the French beaches. In addition, the Allies had 4,000 smaller landing craft and more than 11,000 aircraft.
By nightfall on June 6, more than 9,000 Allied soldiers were dead or wounded, but more than 100,000 had made it ashore and secured French coastal villages. Within weeks, supplies were being unloaded at Utah and Omaha beachheads at the rate of more than 20,000 tons per day. By June 11, more than 326,000 troops, 55,000 vehicles, and 105,000 tons of supplies had been landed on the beaches. By June 30, the Allies had established a firm foothold in Normandy. Allied forces crossed the River Seine on August 19.
Military Intelligence was an important part of the Normandy invasion. British and American cryptographers working in London deciphered coded messages that the German believed to be unbreakable. Messages could quite often be delivered to Eisenhower within two and a half hours of the time the Germans had sent it. In addition, reconnaissance teams took infrared pictures of Omaha Beach while avoiding German patrols. There is no official casualty figure for D-Day. It is estimated that more than 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded, or went missing during the battle. That figure includes more than 209,000 Allied casualties. In addition to roughly 200,000 German troops killed or wounded, the Allies also captured 200,000 soldiers. Captured Germans were sent to American prisoner-of-war camps at the rate of 30,000 per month, from D-Day until Christmas 1944. Between 15,000 and 20,000 French civilians were killed during the battle.
Now it's out for all to see. Helen Thomas is an anti-Semite of the worst kind.
How can she report historic events from the White House when she obviously has forgotten the Holocaust?
Not surprising to me at all. Two dyed in the wool socialistas showing their true contempt for our flag, not to mention our country.
As any American knows, we place our right hand over our heart when we recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
And for anyone who thinks this may be a "mirror-image" picture, please note the wedding rings on the ring fingers of their LEFT HANDS and the RIGHT side of the "Messiah's" suit coat where the buttons are. It's sickening.
What? Are you frickin' kidding me? More taxes?
These folks are loons. Especially the lady who says "I don't make enough to pay more".
I feel a bit sick now. And they have the audacity to call the Teabag people nuts
I don't think he's smarter than a 6th grader!
Are you kidding me? Is this "our" President? A guy who can't speak to school children with out the prompter? And look at that set up in the classroom. It looks like he is giving a campaign speech.
If I didn't think so before, I sure as hell do now. This guy is way out of his league.
Do us all a favor Mr. President, go back to community organizing. I think you can handle that without a script.
Funny as hell (and a great editing job!).
As of 9:45 pm tonight, The Boston Herald, AP, CNN and Fox News have all projected Scott Brown as the winner of the US Senate race in Massachusetts.
As usual, The Boston Globe will probably wait until next week to report the results.
Simon's cat. Same stuff has been going at our house with all the snow.
Mein Deutsch ist nicht gut. Ich erlerne!
It's that time again. Jack is Back.
Sad for me that this is slated to be the final season, but wait, the producers of "24" are working on a full length feature film due out?
I guess I'll just have to wait and see...stay tuned!
