Kind of reminds me of that John Carpenter movie with Rowdy Roddy Piper "They Live"

If you've never seen it, the premise is that ghouls come to earth and try to control humans with mind control and subliminal messages. Roddy Piper discovers this when he finds a pair of special sunglasses that reveals the horrid creatures as they really are.

I'm now in the process of trying procure a pair of these glasses so that I can prove once and for all that the current administration are just a real ghoulish bunch!
